Parivartan was formally registered in January 2010 as a not for profit public trust in Amdavad to work on four major issues facing us everyday. They are :

How to solve the daily traffic chaos in our cities. We try to get people involved and encourage them to be a part of the solution, instead of being a part of the problem. Basic traffic manners and courtesy go a long way in solving the mess we have on the roads everywhere. We also try and work with the traffic department, Police department and various other organisations, regarding several traffic related issues. We also organise Seminars and Focus Groups.

Parivartan wants to see cleaner and greener cities. and actively work to make it happen. We work with Municiple Governments in different cities across Gujarat. We aim to clean up our streets and educate people not to throw garbage anywhere and everywhere.  Road Shows and Focus Groups are also planned. Again, we ask people to join us, take an active interest in keeping their area clean. Afterall, it's your own health, right ?

We all see half naked people on the streets of India everyday, but do we just ignore them or have you ever tried to do anything about it ? We at Parivartan urge people to donate your used clothing so that people who can not afford it, have something to wear. Please donate only those clothes that you would wear yourself.

We actively encourage everyone to be involved and sponsor atleast one child for education. Sponsor a child for one year worth of education expenses (school fees, uniforms, text books and stationery) and help an entire family get out of poverty. Full details about the student will be provided, including name of the school, student contact information and feel free to keep in touch with the child. It's not so much about us personally, it is about us as a nation. How much we care for our own country, for our own well being and to contribute in making it better, instead of just criticising and doing nothing. We are all journalists and ordinary people like you and me. If we can do this, you can do this too. Come, join us. Let us make a difference.

_ Diwali Gift Boxes
Diwali Gift Boxes Are given to all the kids sponsored by Parivartan. (at present 14 kids) Diwali Gift Boxes are made of chocolates, mithai (sweets), Notebook, Pencils, small fine wanes etc. And is given to kids every year on Diwali.

_ Other Donations to Kids
Parivartan also donates wheel chairs, clothes and other necessary stuff to needy kids on a need basis.

Road Shows
Parivartan also organizes road shows on traffic, cleanliness and other relevant issues.
